Angelika Klüssendorf

Angelika Klüssendorf, born in Ahrensburg in 1958, lives today at the countryside in Mecklenburg. She has published several collections of short stories and novels and the trilogy of novels Das Mädchen, April and Jahre später, which were all nominated for the German Book Prize and were also shortlisted twice. Among others, she was awarded the Marie Luise Kaschnitz Prize (2019). The French translation of her novel Vierunddreißigster September was longlisted for the Prix Femina 2022.
