Adam Soboczynski

Adam Soboczynski was born in Torun, Poland in 1975. In 1981 he moved to West Germany with his family. He studied German Literature and Philosophy and in 2005 he graduated with a PhD. In 2004 he moved to Berlin und worked for the newspapers Der Tagesspiegel, DIE ZEIT and Monopol. In 2005 he was awarded the Axel-Springer Prize and the German-Polish Prize for Journalism. He has written several narrative non-fiction books and a novel. His works have been translated into several languages. Soboczynski lives in Berlin and Hamburg and heads the feuilleton of the German newspaper DIE ZEIT.
